Uncommitted. 6-foot, 170 pounds. Bats and throws left. At the plate has a balanced, slight crouch, and short stride to let hands whip through hitting zone. Swing path is level with some pull-side tendencies. Generated a 84 mph exit velocity. Defensively, in the outfield, shows confident, clean, and athletic actions, chops his feet well. In past events we have had him run a 7.09 60, and throw 79 from the OF. Currently hitting .333 for the Wolves with a HR after a slow start. Last spring Martinez led the Wolves with a .424 batting average, and led the team with 15 RBI's. Here is a video of him taking a left-handed pitcher the other way for a double which drove in the lead run of the game.
