The Cougar receive some unexpected power from Bohannon hitting 2 homeruns out of the 9 hole against Cherry Creek and Dakota Ridge. Bohannon drove in 5 of his 10 RBI's this season. On the mound he pounded the strike zone against Dakota Ridge giving up 1 earned run in 5 innings striking out 7. Below is comments on Bohannon from an event this spring.

A 6-foot-0, 170-pound left hand hitting LHP/OF who ran a 6.96 60.  On the mound he stands tall and gets good balance.  Falls to the plate and lands in-line, finish takes him to the third base side.  Delivery is over the top with good arm speed on all three pitches.  Fastball touched 87 with good command away.  He also showcased a 70 MPH curve with sharp break and a 67 MPH change.  At the plate he is balanced with a high leg kick and long stride.  Good weight transfer and extension out front produced an 84 MPH exit velocity.  In the field he moves well and uses quick feet and transfer to get rid of the ball.  He displayed an 85 MPH arm with accuracy.

Bohannon patrolled Centerfield for Slammers Blue against Cherokee Trail and Strike Zone.  He moves effortlessly to the ball and took away several potential hits.  He showed a + arm from the outfield with an arm velocity of 87 mph.  A duel threat at the plate that can hit for power or lay down a bunt just as easy.

6-5-15
5-foot-11, 180 pounds. Bats and throws left.  Athletic strong build for size. Had a good day a the plate. Had a big 2-out opposite field hit to tie the game for Team Colorado. Also was called on to sacrifice later in the game when it was tied 4-4 and put down a perfect bunt down the 3rd Base line for an infield hit. Ranges well to ball. At the plate small load and slight leg kick. Swings down to the ball, extends though it level and finishes high.

5-4-15
5-foot-11, 180 pounds. Athletic strong build for size. Bohannon was not able to pitch due to pitching in game day before, but from the mound in live play we have had Bohannon at 84 mph from a high 3/4 arm slot that is short going back and quick to the plate.  In the outfield uses same arm slot and threw 80 mph from right field to 3B. Ranges well to ball. At the plate small load and slight leg kick. Swings down to the ball, extends though it level and finishes high. Has line drive power, and produced an exit velocity of 86 mph off the tee. Ran a 7 flat 60. Made the Junior Sunbelt Classic Roster.
