Adam Rosenfield: SS/RHP, (2025) Ridgefield, CT. 6-foot, 160-pound lean athletic frame. Above average in the box, Rosenfield clocked an exit velocity of 80 mph. (64.9 mph bat speed average). (22.1 mph hand speed average). Began in an athletic balanced stance with a tight compact load, then used a controlled stride. Bat speed is quick, uses a short level swing plane and good extension on his finish. He found multiple barrels with tons of loud contact. Gap to gap line drive approach. Above average while in the infield, registered his best throw across the diamond at 78 mph; shows a twitchy exchange, soft hands, and athletic smooth feet. Laterally, movements were athletic and fielded the ball out front. Showed a high ¾ slot and a short loose arm action with consistent accuracy to the bag. Projectable on the mound, showed quick arm speed, also used a short loose arm action and a high ¾ arm angle. Tall-and-fall up-tempo type pitcher and uses easy effort. Balance point is tall with an in line shoulders during delivery. Lands square with an athletic finish. Sat with his fastball at 76-78 mph; has arm side control and sinking action. (Max spin 1923; Avg 1828). Has tilt and glove side command on his 1/7 curveball (64-65). (Max spin 1812; Avg 1750). His changeup (71-73) has arm side command and fading swing and miss action. He showed swing and miss late action and down in the zone command on his 2/8 slider (68-69). (Max spin 1921; Avg 1806). Love the projection off the mound.
