6-foot-1, 180-pound solid strong build. Above average advanced during batting practice, the right-handed hitter had an exit velocity of 95 mph. (64.76 mph bat speed average). (21.90 mph hand speed average). Begins in a wide balanced stance with a tight compact load, then uses a short controlled stride. Had explosive bat speed, short level swing plane and good extension on his high finish. In his round he found lots of barrels with tons of loud contact. Pull side aggressive approach.Smooth advanced in the infield, his position velocity was registered at 83 mph; had quick in control footwork, soft twitchy hands, and a clean natural exchange. Fields the ball out front, movements laterally were athletic. Had a short very quick arm action and a high ¾ slot with consistent accuracy to the bag. Clocked a time of 7.53 in the 60-yard dash.

Exit Velocity: 95 mph

Arm Velocity: 83 mph

Trey Begasse: SS/2B, (2023) out of the Canterbury School, CT. is a 6-foot-1, 180-pound infield prospect. In the box, the right-handed hitter recorded an exit velocity of 96 MPH, with a (68.60 MPH bat speed average) and (23.31 MPH hand speed average). Begasse begins in a balanced, athletic stance with the hands set just off the back shoulder. A slow load stacks the weight over the back leg before taking a slightly uphill path through the hitting zone. His round was highlighted by a lot of loud contact and juice to the pull side. In the infield, Begasse was 82 MPH on his throws across the diamond. As he worked through the ground balls, he showed he  had soft hands, a clean fluid exchange, and athletic smooth footwork.

(71.75 mph bat speed average). (22.53 mph hand speed average). Begins in an athletic stance with a smooth load, then uses a controlled stride. Had above average bat speed, simple swing plane and high finish. Created loud contact and found multiple barrels. Gap to gap approach. Above average In the infield, showed soft hands, athletic feet, and a quick exchange. Fields the ball out front, movements laterally were athletic. Consistent accuracy to the bases, used a short arm action with a high ¾ slot. In the 60-yard dash, his time was 7.4.  (Max spin ; Avg ).

Defense:  (IF) Soft hands, athletic footwork, quick exchange. Above average.  Laterally, movements were athletic and fielded the ball out front. 

Arm:  Short arm action, high ¾ slot, consistent accuracy.
