Florida State Commit, 6-foot, 170-pound athletic physical build. Athletic confident in the box, Clarke recorded an exit velocity of 94 mph. Starts in an active athletic stance with a smooth tight load, then uses a controlled leg kick. Had raw above average bat speed, level loose swing plane and good extension on his finish. He produced loud contact and found lots of barrels. Line drive aggressive approach. Advanced confident in the infield, his best throw was registered at 84 mph; had twitchy sure hands, a clean lengthy exchange, and fluid rhythmic footwork.
