Lefty works with some pace and competitiveness. Stands 5-foot-11, 170 pounds. Long arm swing gets to an over-the-top slot. Quick arm. Slightly across his line at foot-strike, working to create some deception. Flashed two different breaking balls, leaning on the curveball at 67-71 with a spin rate up to 2300rpm. Slider was shorter with more sweep out of the hand, peaking at 76. Split change had some effect on hitters sitting on the fastball, ranging 75-76 and tumbling with a spin rate of 900 rpm. Fastball peaked at 85.
2/13/19 - 5-foot-10, 160-pound left-handed pitcher, athletically-built. On the mound, arm works short, over-the-top slot, does an excellent job hiding on the back-side. Tall and fall delivery, works on-line, lands square, finishes crossing over. Fastball sat 80-81, flashed run. Curveball, 1/7 shape, played at 71-73. Changeup, fade action, 72-74.
12/2/18 - Team Florida Junior Future Games participant and continued to show his overall two-way talent. He has bat speed from the left side and shows a feel to pitch and true two-way potential.
