Big 6-foot-1, 240 pound body. Had one of the better BP rounds of the day. Impacted the baseball with present pull-side pop. Hands are whippy and showed the ability to get to the inside fastball. 91 exit velocity. Stayed inside and back to drive a changeup for a double. Defensively, he has an average arm with some carry to his throws.
Uncommitted. Currently stands at 5-foot-11, 220 pounds with a strong, stocky frame. Offensively, he starts from a wide base with loose hands and shows a level to uphill finish through the zone, looking to drive the ball with authority. At times he can drop his hands, but when he stayed level through the zone, he was able drive the ball gap-to-gap. Registered an 81 mph exit velocity in the cage. Around the bag at first, he fields the ball out in front and under control, squaring his body up to field the ball. Throws across the diamond and to second were accurate, topping out at 70 mph.
