Positional Profile: LHP/1B; A premium two-way talent in the state.
Body: 6-foot-2, 180-pounds. Athletic frame, sloped shoulders.
Delivery: Smooth tall/fall type delivery, athletic at balance point, strong front side, open-toed landing, directional to target. Maintained rhythm throughout.
Arm Action: LH. Long and loose arm action, high 3/4 slot.
FB: T83, 80-82 mph. Two-seam type. Showed natural arm-side run.
CB: 70-72 mph. 1/7 shape with sharp actions. Thrown with intent. Pairs well with fastball, better breaking ball of the two.
SL: 74-76 mph. Tight shape. Distinct actions from curveball.
CH: 78-80 mph. Firm.

Body: 6-foot-2, 180-pounds. Athletic frame, sloped shoulders.
Hit: LHH. Relaxed setup, easy and confident in the box, stays balanced with short stride and soft loading actions. Ball jumps off the bat at times, compact swing, creates advanced bat speed, some pull side tendency.
Power: 91 mph exit velocity from the tee. Hard contact, flashes pop to pull side.
Arm: LH. INF - 83 mph. Long, loose arm action from a high 3/4 slot; arm strength through the infield.
Defense: Athletic actions at first base; ranges well. Fluid feet help foster clean, efficient exchanges to release. Natural feel for the bag.
Run: 7.24 runner in the 60.

Body: 6-foot-1, 170-pounds. Athletic, well-proportioned frame.
Delivery: Smooth, quiet, hybrid, tall and fall delivery, works on-line, lands square and head stays still at footstrike.
Arm Action: LH. Short, loose, projectable arm action from an over-the-top slot.
FB: T80, 78-79 mph. Works down in the zone, straight action, occasional cut.
CB: 67-71 mph. 12/6 shape, tight spin at times.
CH: 76-76 mph.

Body: 6-foot-1, 170-pounds. Athletic, well-proportioned frame.
Hit: LHH. Balanced, athletic setup, minimal load, short stride and maintains excellent balance through contact.  Quiet swing, easy effort, present bat speed, natural lift in swing and pull-side approach. Highly-repeatable swing that projects.
Power: 86 mph exit velocity from the tee. Pull-side power potential.
Arm: LH. INF - 79 mph. Clean arm action, high 3/4 slot and throws carry across.
Defense: Comfortable around the first base bag, steady hands, fluid footwork and clean release.
Run: 4.83 runner home to first. 

6/25/19

Punched out seven batters in five dominant innings. Easy effort delivery. He featured a heavy fastball that sat 77-79 mph, and touched 81-82 mph a couple of times. Ross locates his fastball well down in the zone, too. He throws two distinctly different breaking balls, a slider and curve, in the same slot as his fastball which helps add some swing-and-miss to his arsenal. Curveball plays 12/6 with depth at 65 mph, while slider showed 2/8 shape thrown firmer at 70 mph. Final line: CG (5 IP), ER, 3 H, 1 BB, 7 K.

Body: 6-foot-1, 170-pounds. Lean projectable frame, athletic sloped shoulders.
Positional Profile: 1B/LHP High follow 2022 left-handed bat.
Run: 7.43 runner in the 60. Form run, short stride, in line.
Hit: LHH. Athletic setup, moxy in the box, short stride, excellent balance. Short path with bat speed. Athletic hands get to the baseball, confident swing with intent, on time, two hand finish.
Power: 86 mph exit velocity from the tee. Projectable power.
Defense: Actions show feel around the bag, confident hands, clean exchange.
Arm: LH. INF - 77 mph. Above average arm at 1B, short over the top slot.

3/10/19

Positional Profile: 1B/LHP 
Body: 6-foot-1, 170-pounds. Lean projectable frame, athletic sloped shoulders.
Delivery: Athletic delivery, loads on back side, lands square, balanced finish.
Arm Action: LH. Slight plunge, full arm circle, over the top slot.
FB: T78, 75-77 mph. Showed late run to arm side, control of the strike zone.
CB: 61-63 mph. 12/6 shape, sharp action at times, near fastball arm speed. 
CH: 72-74 mph. Near fastball arm speed, straight change, showed feel, occasional sink.

4/8/18 - 6-foot-1, 160-pound two-way player, lean shape. On the mound delivery is athletic and low effort squared landing, works in line. Arm action is short and quick from a high ¾ slot. Fastball has feel, 75-77 mph. Curveball has 12/6 shape, sharp action at times, dropped for strikes, 61-64 mph. Changeup has sink and fade action, 69-70 mph. Left-handed hitter, tall setup, smooth load and short stride, good balance. Easy bat speed, made hard contact at times, short path. 87 mph exit velocity from the tee. Defensively arm played well around the bag, short over the top slot, 72 mph across the diamond. Hands showed softness and comfortable receiving the baseball. 8.05 runner in the 60. 

4/2/17 - 5-foot-11, 140-pound, lanky two-way prospect. Offensively, left-handed, tall, open setup, hands load back, leg kick timing-trigger, maintains balance. Short barrel path, loose, easy hands, 82 mph exit velocity off a tee. Ran an 8.31 60. Defensively, short arm action, over-the-top slot, 63 mph across the infield. On the mound, left-handed, over-the-top arm slot, short, quick arm action, tall and fall delivery. Fastball sat 67-69 mph. Curveball, 12/6 shape, gradual action, 51-52 mph. Changeup sat 61-65 mph.
