5/10/26
The Indiana commit lives for the moment and delivered an electric start on the mound for the Trojans with the season on the line. Abundance of tools in the compact 5-foot-9, 160-pound frame and brings high-level competitiveness to the diamond. Tossed a complete game shutout across 7.0 IP with 4 hits, 0 runs, 2 walks, and 13 strikeouts in a win. Had the full mix clicking with swing-and-miss on both the FB/CB. Gets down the mound really well with present arm speed showing from a repeatable, higher ¾ arm slot. Fastball creates ride through the zone at 87-89 (T90 MPH) for whiffs when elevated. Advanced feel for the curveball and was the go to pitch all night with immense ability to tunnel off the fastball with late-depth at 73-75. Changeup was mixed in at 80-81 as well. Crawford would pick up a pull-side knock in game 2 as well. Well-connected RH cut in a balanced load while staying compact with real bat speed and leverage in the barrel. Crawford has been a model of consistency over the years and is armed with the type of intangibles to carry the Trojans to a game 3 win and then some.

The Indiana commit led-off the game and jumped all over the first pitch he saw as he dismantled the slider to the pull-side for the no-doubt homerun. Would also add an RBI single later in the game as well. Armed with present strength and athleticism in the compact 5-foot-9, 160-pound frame. Quiet, balanced load with very minimal wasted effort from the potent RH cut. Extremely well-leveraged through the zone with excellent ability to rotate and creates easy carry to the pull-side. Good length in-zone with huge bat speed and impact in the barrel alike. Ran into trouble early on the mound but battled across 6.0 IP as he kept the Trojans in it. Crawford continues to pace North Hall this Spring and offers a plethora of high-floor tools on both sides of the ball while providing immense value to success.

6/11/25

The #1 catcher in GA for the ‘26 class and Indiana commit would check a ton of boxes across the course of NPI. Opening it up at the plate he would find multiple hard-hit barrels throughout the week. Including on Day 2 where he would unload on a no-doubt 3-run shot to the pull-side at 98 EV/ 359 Ft. Crawford stays compact with good balance and leverage alike as he delivers an explosive barrel through the zone with great use of the entire field. The incoming senior would toe the rubber later on the week during Bracket Play for The Dream as he would churn out a quality outing where his fastball topped 90 with heavy sink and run. The two-way prowess of Crawford is amongst some of the best in the class and it was evident at NPI.

Uncommitted. The #14 ranked player in the ‘26 class got things started with a bang Tuesday night at Milton. After working the count, he drives an upper 80’s fastball on the outer half to deep right center for a triple. Crawford’s strength continues to develop as the plate, to pair with his naturally strong arm behind the dish and on the mound. He has made some noticeable adjustments to the swing, and has helped a ton with more consistent contact. Crawford is the type of player that can do it all. He can play CF, be lock down behind the dish or beat anyone in the state on the mound. He got the start last night, and was mid to upper 80’s with his big 12-6 breaking ball that he got a ton of swing and miss on. My favorite thing about Branson is the way he carries himself, he is going to play with emotion, but he is always calm under pressure and does not shy away from the moment. He has the makeup of a college player at a young age, and will be fun to follow this spring and into the summer as a future games candidate.

Uncommitted. 5-foot-9, 165-pounds. Crawford is a strong two-way talent coming out of the 2026 class. During the Labor Day Challenge, He had a strong outing on the mound. He kept his pitch count low, allowing him to go deep into the game. Crawford had a high powered FB that got up to 87. While being able to flip in a sharp BB whenever he wanted to. He showed great command, and was confident in throwing any pitch in different counts.

5-foot-10 175-pounds. One of my favorite athletes over the last few years, as he has been a member of both the 13u and 14u Junior Future Games team. The #18 ranked player in the state of GA 2026 class continues to prove why he will be a national name. A true utility prospect that is the #1 ranked catcher in the class, but can play anywhere on the field. The physical strength is continuing to develop. He is gifted with a strong and quick arm that will only get better with physical size. His 2 strike approach is beyond mature, and found off multiple pitches showing high pitch recognition. He will be a 4 year starter for one of the most well known programs in the state.
