Positional Profile: OF/RHP Hits everywhere he goes. Very athletic for build and stood out in every blast category. Will be a great get for a college program. Body: 5-11, 185-pounds. Stocky with present strength and athleticism. Hits: RHH. Wide, slightly open base. Hands relaxed off shoulders with active movement and barrel preset toward eventual launch position. Smooth trigger into load and very good feel for separation timing. Good weight distribution at landing. Short, direct path with ideal launch angle. Power: 98 max exit velocity, averaged 91.2 MPH. 357' max distance. Ball jumps off barrel with back spin to both gaps. Easy juice to all fields. Arm: RH. Defense: Run: 7.07 runner in the 60.
11/09/19
5-foot-10, 165-pound right-handed hitting middle infielder and right-handed pitcher, a young prospect that has many years of development still ahead, physical frame for age. Ran a 7.47 laser-timed 60. Defensively, arm plays long from multiple slots, kept throws around the bag, 69 across the infield. Hands work well out front, keeps body square funneling up into midsection, fluid footwork. Offensively, closed setup, short stride, abrupt hand load back into a bar. Barrel path was between level and uphill, generating line drive contact, late rhythm, 81 exit velocity. On the mound, arm action is long and clean on the back-side, comes out of an over-the-top slot, repets well. Drop and drive delivery, sit ons lower half riding down the mound, lands open, finishes walking off the mound. Fastball sat 71-73, touched 74. Curveball, 12/6 shape, gradual break most of the time, can slow the arm, 61-64. Changeup, sink and fade action, showed feel for the pitch, 66-69.
