Uncommitted. Bell, the 6-1 195 pounder righthander, just keeps getting better every outing. He was absolutely dominant today going complete game and mixing speeds all game long with a three-pitch mix, but mostly staying FB-SL combo. He pounded both sides of the plate with the fastball and worked the slider glove side very effectively. There is a ton to like about Bell; he works extremely fast and doesn’t allow hitters to get comfortable in the box. Physically he still has room to mature and grow and exhibits arm speed as well.

Uncommitted. 6-foot-1, 193-pound right-handed hitting two-way prospect, strong, athletic build. At the plate, has a calm, cool demeanor, balanced setup, keeps it simple with a short stride and load, good balance through contact. Quick barrel that is short to the zone, takes a line drive approach using the middle of the field. Defensively, has advanced tools, big arm, accurate on throws. On the mound, Bell makes every at-bat uncomfortable for the hitter with an ultra quick pace, gives the hitter zero time to settle into the box. Arm works clean and quick to a ¾ slot with whippy hand speed. Dominated in his start, commanding a fastball/curveball combo, inducing swing and misses with both pitches. Fastball sat 85-87 with armside run. Curveball, 11/5 shape, late bite, 72-74.

6-foot-1, 193-pound right-handed hitting catcher and right-handed pitcher, strong, athletic build, a legitimate two-way prospect,  ran a 7.40 laser-timed 60. Offensively, keeps it simple, balanced setup, short stride, hands load back smoothly, maintains good balance throughout. Takes a line drive approach using the middle of the field, level barrel path through the zone, flashed pull-side pop, consistently barrel pitches up during BP, 88 exit velocity off a tee. Defensively, short, quick arm out of a high ¾ slot, accurate throws to the right-side of the bag, got the ball there in a hurry, 79 out of the crouch. Quick, clean actions behind the plate, flexible lower half, pop times 1.93-2.00. On the mound, arm works clean on the back-side with quick arm speed to a ¾ slot, at-times will drop down to a low ¾ slot. Tall and fall delivery, works on-line, lands square to home, finishes with a leg sweep and some lower half recoil. Fastball sat 84-86, running action. Curveball, 12/6 shape, depth and some late bite, 72-74. Changeup, fade action, 75-77.

6-foot, 170-pound right-handed pitcher and catcher, strong, sturdy frame, will continue to add muscle and strength to frame as he matures. Arm works continuous and clean on the back-side, full swing, to a ¾ slot, cross-body action. Smooth drop and drive delivery, works on-line, lands toe-closed, finishes crossing over. Fastball sat 82-84, mostly straight. Mixed in a 12/6 curveball at 71-73 and a straight change at 77.
