Georgia Southern commit. 6-foot 195-pounds. After the event was over we found out Strickland is battling a torn meniscus. He battled in the freezing cold Friday night on the mound running the fastball up to 88. A gutsy performance all around for the GATA commit.  At the plate he had five hits on the weekend with two doubles and four rbi’s. Daegan has a great approach and hits the ball where it is pitched. His hands are quick and has the power to get the ball in the air on the right pitch.

Uncommitted, 5-foot-11, 185 Pounds. Despite battling an injury, still a strong bat from the right side, with big power potential. Uses an upright stance, with a simple line drive approach, produces consistent hard contact up the middle and to the pull side.

5-10, 170lbs. Broad shoulders and strong frame. 7.13 sixty time (laser). 87 mph exit velocity (tee). 2.10-2.11 POP Time Range. 75 mph C velocity. Balanced stance at the shoulders. Relaxed handset with a loose rhythm. Medium high leg kick with a medium stride length. Hands launch from a lower position off the back shoulder. Flat path to contact with an uphill two handed finish. Showed the ability to lag the barrel and drive the ball gap to gap. Current power will continue to trend up as he matures. Athletic set up behind the plate with good hands and quick exchange. Arm is strong, accuracy to the bag was sporadic. Good bend in the hips and solid receiving skill set. On the mound, ran the FB up to 82 MPH Mixed in a quality 72 mph SL and a 71-74 mph CH. Repeatable delivery, landed slightly open and used a H3Q arm slot. Full arm action with avg to slightly above avg arm speed.
