Johnson has a strong, compact frame that flashes athletic actions through fielding, hitting, and overall baseball IQ. Johnson has a well-sequenced load with a tight, connected swing that stayed flat thru the zone and made hard contact with the ball. Good ball-player that will only continue to get better throughout the years.

Delivery: Quite compact delivery for age, if side step isn't so forward he will produce more power over rubber. Hips force him to front side in stride causing arm to rush. Would get more separation if he can keep the upper half over rubber in stride.
Arm Action: RH. Short circle arm action, 3/4 slot.
