This was followed up by a Miles Norman RBI single to bring Georgia within 1. Aden Rucker was able to put the ball in play and Georgia was able to capitalize off of some Minnesota mistakes making the score 6-4. In the top of the 6th, Jax Lathem was able to drive one into the left center field gap for a bases clearing double, extending Georgia’s lead to 10-4. Between the duo of Georgia’s pitchers, Braden Little and Caleb Hudson, Georgia was able to shut down the Minnesota offense and take Game 1 of the tournament 10-4.
