There's not much more to say about the former Future Gamer and Florida State commit, but Stuetzer continues to impact the game in multiple ways in every look. Steutzer has incorporated a more upright stance at the plate this spring allowing the shortstop to create better separation to let barrel stay in-zone forever where his barrel accuracy and plus bat speed have shown extremely well. The pull-side power potential could be plus as well as present plus speed that creates havoc on the bases. One of the best power/speed combos in the class, with a real feel to hit as well. Defensively, Stuetzer continues to make huge strides as a potential above-average glove on the left side of the infield. An easy mover laterally with great flexibility to bend and attack with confidence. Present arm strength from multiple angles while showing carry across. It may be slightly bullish but there’s five-tool potential with Stuetzer and stock is beginning to soar.
5-foot-11 185-pounds. Stuetzer is the type of athlete that any coach will want on their team. He has exploded on the scene ever since his state championship run with Pope. He sets the tone at the top of the the line up, and is the type of player that makes everyone around him better. The type of energy and competivness he plays with his fun to watch. He nearly led the event off on Thursday night with a homer to left. He hunts the fastball and rarely misses. He has easy pop, and stays through the middle of the field. He has a great 2 strike apporach and will always be a tough out. He mixed in a SS and the OF this week, and can do either at a high level. Friday night against Indiana he had 2 of the loudest barrels of the game. One looked like it was leaving the yard to deep left center off the bat, but the fastest player at the event somehow tracked it down at the wall. He also had a loud double down the line. Few players explode out of the box like Stuetzer does. He is thinking 2 every time he takes off to first. His explosive strides allow him to cause havoc on the bases, and has all the right insticts to be a threat on the bases at anytime.

5-foot-11 180-pounds. Got the chance to see Stuetzer on the mound and have some impressive at bats at the plate. A true CF or SS that is one of the most athletic players on the field game in and game out. Set the angle, and laid down an impressive bunt for a single to put runners in scoring position. Posted a 3.85 down the line even with pulling up short, because they had no chance of throwing him out. He brought his athleticism to the mound, and flashed an impressive CB that had hitters guessing. Fastball was 83-85 with late life down in the zone. Stuetzer will be one to keep an eye on with 643 over the summer, and the next 2 years at Pope.
