CLASS OF 2026

Kennesaw State commit. It was a great pitchers duel between the two Raiders teams as Dixon hunkered down after giving up 1ER on a couple weak hit singles. The FB remains to be his primary weapon at 84-87 with very heavy ASR that jammed RHH all outing. Though his favorite pitch was the FB, he relied on a few breakers to stay ahead and put hitters away. The CB and SL were his favorites at 66-70 and 72-74 respectively, both having good movement and great deception. The CH was used a handful of times to show a slower look into righties (78-81). Across his 7IP he racked up 8Ks, only giving up 4H (2 bloops) and 1ER in the 1st before the game was suspended due to lightning. He made an impact at the dish as well, coming up with a clutch leadoff 2B on the first pitch T5 as he smoked a FB down the LF line. He would then come around to score and tie it up. Dixon’s impact was everywhere as North rode his great outing and ABs until the game had to be put on hold.

Delivery: Slow, methodical windup with a fast and clean stroke stroke.
Arm Action: RH. Lower 3/4 action.
FB: T88, 86-88 mph. Hard arm-side run. Plays well at the bottom of the zone. T2180, 2114 average rpm.
CB: 73-74 mph. Above-average command with feel to spin and consistant depth T2490, 2450 average rpm.
CH: 81-82 mph. Kills spin paired with arm-side tumble T1828, 1774 average rpm.
ATH: 1.74 and 4.01 in the 10 and 30 yard splits. 30.10 max vertical.

Hit: RHH. Upright, narrow and even stance. Drifts into the swing at times, smaller leg lifts. Developing power at the plate, middle/oppo BP round. 64.3 mph bat speed with 10 G's of rotational acceleration.
Power: 87 max exit velocity, averaged 76.4 mph. 242' max distance.
Arm: RH. INF-86 mph. Quick, shorter arm.
Defense: Late glove presentation at times, clean and easy mover. Athletic.
ATH: 1.74 and 4.01 in the 10 and 30 yard splits. 30.10 max vertical.

Delivery: Smooth operating, quick twitch delivery. He continues to fill out and add to the lower half. Good extension and intent.
Arm Action: RH. High 3/4 slot. Strong pull down.
FB: T85, 82-85 mph. Missed barrels. Good horizontal movement. Good life down in the zone. T2123, 2022 average rpm.
CB: 67-70 mph. Swing and miss pitch. Late break and hard bite. T2219, 2115 average rpm.
CH: 77-80 mph. Really good feel for it. Fading, downward action. T1899, 1582 average rpm.

6-foot 140-pounds. We have seen Dixon the past year on the summer circuit, but this was the first high school outing we caught and I was really impressed. He was expecting to get some work last night, but had to come in during a 1-0 count after the starter tweaked his hamstring. He struck out the first batter and was up to 87. He settled in at 83-86, but showed a ton of life on the FB compared to the summer. The slider was sharp at 73-75, and threw it 3 times in a row for a strikeout. The arm action is impressive and clean, and he mixes that with an effortless lower half and strong backside drive. He looked comfortable out of the stretch, and fit right in as the only freshman on the field. Dixon will be a high follow in the ‘26 class for the rest of the spring and into the summer.
