Uncommitted. Middleton is small in stature (5-8 165) but he is one of those players that just does everything across the board to help you win a game. He plays a solid shortstop showing off good footwork, quick transfers, and an accurate arm across the infield; offensively he is an on base machine, draws free passes and has show the ability to be a situational hitter at the top of the lineup. Middleton also exhibits a high baseball IQ and leadership qualities that many coaches want out of the shortstop position.
