Strong athletic frame with still room to add muscle. Tall open stance and a refined approach at the plate. Flashed some pop in the bat to the mid/pull gap. Hit a 3B to the centerfield wall.
6-foot, 160-pound right-handed hitting 2-way player. Slight open stance, taller athletic frame, controlled leg kick trigger, deeper load with arm bar, choppy swing plane through contact, flashes hard spray contact off bat to all fields, 81 mph exit velocity. Avg. tempo, moves with feet close together occasionally, sure hands, accuracy and carry to bag, 80 mph arm strength across infield. On mound; short rocker step, tall balance point, swings front leg down mound. Hands break down, short arm action, with some extension out front. Fastball was 76-78 mph, mostly straight, with slight varying action to plate. Avg. spin on curveball; early break with 12/6 shape. Changeup is firm and flat with minimal action at plate.
