6-foot, 175-pound left-handed pitcher. Sleeper in the 2020 class and will make significant jump in rankings from current spot at #122. Athletic with body control, arm is extremely clean and loose, ball jumps out of hand, and shows above avg. secondary pitches. Fastball was 83-85 mph with late run and sink action for strikes. Throws two breaking balls; true 1/7 curveball with solid shape and spin and a sharp slider/cutter that has above avg. depth. Changeup is thrown at fastball arm speed with above avg. action. Has consistently continued to improve through high school; 3-4 pitch mix for strikes currently and projects to be an upper 80’s arm once he enters college.
6-foot, 170-pound left-handed hitting 2-way player. On mound; gathers over rubber with small tuck and turn, compact arm action, high release point from high ¾ slot, lands inline to catcher. Fastball was 79-81 mph with solid varying action to plate. Sharper break on 2/8 curveball with solid spin and shape. Changeup dives late to arm-side of plate. 7.41 runner. Square stance with body load, early rhythm in hands, consistently squared baseball, line drive path with occasional pop in bat, 85 mph exit velocity. Sure hands, fields on heels occasionally, solid athlete for position with above avg. arm strength, 84 mph arm across field.
