6/18/15 - Recently committed to Northern Illinois. 6-foot-3, 190-pound right-handed pitcher, long limbed. Slight drop and drive style delivery, closed front side works slightly against his body. Over the top arm slot, short draw. Fastball flashed cut action, 83-86 mph. Curveball has 12/6 shape, 73-75 mph, touched 78 mph. Changeup worked at 74-76 mph.
2.15.15 - 6-foot-3, 190-pound right-handed pitcher, lean thin build, projects some. Arm works loosely from a high ¾ slot. Fastball is mostly four seam straight action, 83-85 mph, touched 86 mph. Curveball played at 70-74 mph, backs up some, can improve axis. Straight change, decelerated arm action, occasional sink, 70-73 mph. Williams has shown a continual trend upward and has slowly progressed his game into one of the better arms in the 2016 class.
7/23/13 - 6-foot-1, 165-pound right-handed pitcher has some projectability. Tall-and-fall pitcher with some rhythm in his delivery. Keeps his shoulders level releasing from a ¾ slot. His fastball showed sink and above average arm-side run sitting 73-77 mph. Has gradual 11/5 break to his curveball ranging 60-66 mph. Williams has room to mature his frame and develop his secondary pitches.
9/23/18 - Northern Illinois transfer. 6-foot-3, 200-pound right-handed pitcher, strong build. Started Game 1 of the day, Fastball sat 86-87 with run. 12/6 curveball at 73-76. Changeup, used less often than curveball, 79 mph.
