College: Parkland College Thoele, who's one of the biggest sleepers in the state, plays at tiny Dieterich HS in southeastern Illinois, enrollment of 139 students. If he pitched in the Chicago area, everyone would know about this projectable right-hander. With a loose arm and command of three pitches, Thoele's fastball regularly sits 86-89 mph, and has climbed to 91 on occasion. He also has shown feel for a slider and changeup to compliment his fastball.
