6-foot-2, 185-pound RHP. Starts from the stretch; uses a high leg kick to generate power; hides the ball well. Stays on top of FB; 80-83 mph FB; 69-70 mph CB. In the game, got hitters to chase pitches; kept hitters off-balance by varying pitches; created ground balls; located all pitches for strikes.

2/16/2019: Aiden Carlisle, RHP/3B, Franklin Central HS, 2020, 6 foot 2, 185 pounds, uses a long arm action and throws from a high ¾ slot. Fastball was straight and sat 81-83 with some effort.  Threw an 11/5 CB that sat 67-70, and showed a CH with some sink that sat 76-79. Aiden has some projection in his frame to throw harder.

6/12/18:  2020 3B/ RHP out of Franklin Central. Hits from right side with a closed wide base setup in the box. Short stride to the baseball with hands acting as trigger. Showed average bat speed with a level short compact bat path. Had some stiffness in swing. Showed ability to spray line drives. At 3B tended to field balls deep instead of out in front. Showed good exchange with average arm across diamond. On the mound pitches from high ¾ arm slot tilt at balance point. Clean arm action. Finishes through all pitches to the plate with some extension. FB sat 77-80 T82 throughout outing. Flashed CB with gradual break at 64-68.

2/25/18: 60 Time: 7.38, Position Velocity: INF-83, Exit Velocity: 79

6-foot-2, 170 pound sophomore hits from small crouch, tall frame uses small hand load to start one piece swing, no stride. Simple short path to the baseball, ability to add more length and movement in swing, needs to create separation. Pull side, uphill bat path with average bat speed. Stiff rhythm and lower half, more room for growth in swing and strength in frame. Choppy, stiff to bend actions in the infield, corner infielder with average defensive actions. Arm works across the diamond, showcasing arm strength with carry. Long delivery and exchange from high ¾ slot.

Pitching: Interesting sophomore follow on the mound with long, loose limbs and good arm speed with some effort. Drop and drive delivery with small inward turn down the mound, arm action gets long and stabs at the back. Young prospect with raw actions and mechanics, has some work to do to clean up the arm swing and lower half. Fastball topped at 83, mostly sitting 81-82, ball showed some life around the bottom of the zone. Breaking ball was spun at 67-70, showed 11/5 break, flashed swing and miss once. Inconsistent timing, lacks strength and repeatability. Changeup was cut and erratic at times, down in zone at 76-79.
