6/25/15: The 5-foot-10 140 pound RHP sat 80-83 with the fastball.  Command was erratic but got a feel after a few hitters.  Arm action was quick and over the top.  Ben pitches with some rhythm and finishes athletically.  Breaking ball was 68-70mph with late break and 11/5 shape. 

10/18/14: 5-foot-10, 140 pound righty pitches from a long, loose arm action with average arm speed.  Fastball was up to 78 with some sink and kept in the zone for a strike.  Breaking ball shows late break from an 11/5 shape at 66-67 mph.  Changeup is thrown with near fastball arm speed with cut at 73-74 mph.  

5-foot-10, 140 pound Junior was 77 from the outfield from a high ¾ slot.  Throws were accurate.  Possesses average hands defensively, with fluid feet.  Exchange is clean, and plays through the ball.  Ran a 7.59-60. At the plate hits from an athletic setup and starts slightly open.  Loads back and uses a short stride.  Average use of the lower half with average balance throughout the swing.  Long path to the baseball.  Line drive type hitter.  Registered an exit velo of 73 mph.  

2/22/14: 5-foot-10, 130 pound sophomore RHP was up to 76 with his fastball.  Pitches from a 3/4 slot.  Fastball was straight and consistently thrown for a strike.  Breaking ball shows a 10/4 shape with early break at 63-68 mph. Breaking ball was erratic in the zone.  69-71 mph changeup shows some fade.
