2/16/2019: Benjamin Collins, LHP/OF, Chesterton HS, 2020, 5 foot 11, 150 pounds, throws from a high ¾ slot and long arm action, shows arm speed with effort. FB was straight and sat 82-84, CB was 1/7 tilt with nice bite to it at times and sat 69-71. SL was short and sat 66-69, and CH sat 73-75. Benjamin is interesting because of the arm speed. His effort causes him to not throw as many strikes at this point, but as body develops and effort level is managed, I would expect him to be in the zone a little more.
