12/7/14: 5-foot-11, 165 pounder was 79 mph from the OF using a long arm action and ¾ slot. Defensively shows average hands and feet. Needs to quicken up the exchange. At the plate the LHH starts balanced. Loads back and uses a leg kick. Average use of the lower half. Average bat speed with a level path to the baseball. Barreled up the baseball consistently. Ran a 7.50-60 and registered an exit velo of 75 mph. Good upside for a 2017.
PITCHING: 5-foot-11, 165 pound southpaw pitches from a ¾ slot with average arm speed. Long arm action. Easy effort. Tendency to fall off towards 3B. Fastball was straight at 76-80 and erratic. 10/4 breaking ball sat 62-65 with gradual break. Slows arm down when throwing the breaking ball. Changeup was thrown with fastball arm speed at 69-70.
