7/10/18:  2019 catcher hits from the right side. Tall slightly crouched setup in the box. Short stride to the baseball and uses hand wrap as trigger with weight transfer to back side. Stays balanced throughout whole swing. Bat path is level and was uphill creating leverage at times. Showed line drive ability to the opposite field. Bat speed is average through the zone (81 exit velo). Behind the dish showed good low setup, wide base. Hands and exchange were quick and gained ground well on pops. Pops ranged from 1.93-2.02

 
3/3/18:  6-foot, 181 pound catcher showcased pop times ranging between 2.05-2.11.  Throws topped 72 from the crouch.  Long, fluid footwork.  Quick, short arm slot.  Hits from a balanced setup with above average bat speed.  Level path to contact.  Balanced approach, contact hitter.  High exit velocity of 85.
