Chris Gallagher: SS/RHP, (2021) Cathedral, IN. 5-foot-11, 170-pound lean frame. In the 60-yard dash, he clocked a time of 7.33. In the box, clocked an exit velocity of 84 mph. Started in an athletic stance with a small load, then used Short swing stride to start his swing. Bat speed is quick, has a flat swing plane and low finish. Line drive approach. In the infield, had a live arm with throws that topped out at 87 mph; has a clean fluid exchange and Sure hands. Used a ¾ slot with a loose arm action. On the mound, used a loose arm action and a side arm angle while showing good arm speed. Tall-and-fall type pitcher and shows easy effort. Has a low balance point. Changeup (78-81 mph). Sat with his fastball at 84-86 mph and topped out at 87 mph; has running action and arm side command. His hard curveball (72-74) had in the zone control.

5-foot-10, 155-pound SS / RHP. Left-handed hitter who starts in a tall batting stance with hands level in front of his back shoulder; has slight movement in his hands during load. Has a straight to the ball swing path; gets off his back foot well; ends his swing with a high, one-handed finish; 79 mph exit velocity. In the field, is comfortable moving to the ball; gets in good position to let his glove work show; 81 mph position velocity. Sidearm pitcher with a quick delivery; shows good run on FB; 77-80 mph FB with a max of 81. Has a quick motion and a funky arm slot; 63-64 mph CB. His unorthodox delivery kept hitters off balance throughout the game; fielded his position at pitcher with fluidity. Recorded a 60 time of 7.35.
2/23/2019: Chris Gallagher, SS/RHP, Cathedral HS, 2021, 5 foot 10, 155 pounds, stands slightly open from the left side. Uses early hand load before striding carrying his hands slightly forward to heel strike. When frame fills out should add bat speed, his max exit velo at this event was 82 mph. Hands and feet both work defensively and he also threw 85 mph across the diamond. Would like to see his pace get a little quicker with his feet to help a quicker release. On the mound Chris is very interesting because he throws submarine. He gets body in good submarine posture and arm works free and easy from that slot. Fastball sat 76-77 with some arm side run and sink. Slider sat 65-66 with side to side movement and a little sink.
2/24/18: 5-foot-9, 135 infielder ran a 7.57 60 yard dash. Hits from a tall, balanced setup. Line drive approach. Good balance. Average bat speed. Level path, stays on plane. Dives at times, stride is inconsistent. High exit velocity of 71. Defensively, hands are average with fluid transfer. Short arm action, quick release. High velocity of 75 across the infield.
