'25 C Cohen Heady (Warsaw HS) took the loudest round of batting practice of the day, reaching a peak exit velocity of 101.2 mph. The physical, 6-foot-1, 195 pounder showed off a heavy, accurate barrel, producing loud contact in 77% of his BP swings while averaging 94.3 mph throughout the day. Heady shows above average bat speed & strong rotational capabilities within an upward swing, however there is some unneccessary drag in the barrel that can still be improved. Heady was solid in the bullpen portion of his evaluation, providing a broad-shouldered target and working beneath the bottom of the zone strike with soft glove actions. The uncommitted junior showed above average catch-and-throw skills, topping out at 77 mph from the crouch while posting pop times that ranged from 1.98 - 2.03.

Hit: RHH. Starts in a wide, strong setup. Shorter stride with a quick load to get into launch position. Path works short and direct with a higher finish. Flashes bat speed & bat strength, more of a pull-side gap approach.
Power: 91 max exit velocity, averaged 84.2 mph. 325' max distance.
Arm: RH. C-74 mph. Short, quick arm from an over-the-top slot. Shows the ability to carry the ball
Defense: 2.01-2.12 pop times. Abv avg mobility in the receiving position. Strong hands allow him to control the strike zone. Shows quick feet and a fast exchange on throws to 2B.
ATH: 7.36 runner in the 60. 1.78 and 4.08 in the 10 and 30 yard splits.

Body: 6-foot, 180-pound strong frame.

Hit: (RHH) Solid. Began in a wide balanced stance with a handsy load, then used a short controlled stride. Balanced finish, short simple swing. Line drive approach.

Power: 85.3 mph exit velocity, average 80.1 mph. 63.2 mph bat speed average. 19.7 mph hand speed average.

Defense: (C) 2.11-2.19 pop times. Sure hands, quick footwork, twitchy exchange. Solid. Calm quiet setup with some flexibility.

Arm: 73 mph catcher velocity. Short quick arm action, an-over-the-top slot.
