Though just a quick search, I believe Cooper Collins broke Indiana's all-time catcher velocity record when he fired an 87 mph bullet from the crouch this weekend. The Texas A&M recruit is a defensive weapon, and while it is sometimes difficult to show that in a showcase setting as a catcher, Coop still did. The 6.9 60-time checked a box, and he showed his typical inside-out swing on the offensive side with an exit up to 99.

Body: 5-10, 155-pounds. Athletic build w/ developing strength
Hit: RHH. Tall, slightly open stance. Hover-type stride paired with a compact upper body load. Upward swing plane with developing strength in the barrel.
Power: 77 max exit velocity, averaged 70.6 mph. 218' max distance.
Arm: RH. C-71 mph. Short, quick arm from an OTT slot.
Defense: 2.13-2.19 pop times. Quick feet & transfer, along w/ carry, allow for good catch & throw abilities. Mobile hips, soft hands, and advanced overall receiving abilities for the class.
Run: 7.72 runner in the 60.

Hit: (RHH) Solid. Started in a tall open stance with a rhythmic low load, then used a small leg kick. Rotational upward swing. Pull side approach.
Defense: (C) 2.09-2.20 pop times. Aggressive footwork, quick exchange. Solid.
Arm: 69 mph catcher velocity. Short quick arm action, an-over-the-top slot.
