Thompson continues to cement himself as one of the top two-way players available in the 2026 class this fall. My evals have the offensive side as the higher ceiling, where the 6-foot-3, 195-pound projectable/athletic uncommitted senior posted 95+ peak exits, burned a 7.08 60, and reached 85 mph from the OF. There is some feel to hit shown with a simple setup and swing that he repeated well. On the mound, Thompson fills it with an upper-70s heater and plenty of secondary feel.

Long, projectable 6-foot-3, 195-pound left-handed two-way prospect with fluid actions and plenty of upside. On the mound, works with an easy delivery, sitting 76–79 mph and touching 79 on the fastball (1964 max spin) while mixing a 68–72 mph curveball and 74–75 mph changeup, both showing developmental traits. At the plate, the left-handed swing flashes present strength with an 89 mph exit velocity and 262’ max distance. Also profiles as a serviceable defender in the outfield with a 78 mph arm and solid 7.23 sixty time. Thompson’s frame, athleticism, and two-way ability make him a name to follow as physical development continues.

Dylan Thompson, a 6-foot-3, 195-pound OF/LHP from Warren Central (IN), is an easy, athletic mover with fluidity in all phases of his game and more to come as he adds strength. The left-handed hitter hits from a balanced front side with hands that create natural stretch, showing a direct path to contact. He peaked at 91 mph exit velocity with a 343’ max distance, hinting at power potential as he fills out. On the mound, he’s a smooth, strike-throwing lefty with a low-velocity fastball at 77–79 mph (T79), a 68–69 mph curveball with developing shape, and a 74 mph changeup that shows some feel. High-upside athlete with projection both ways.

Thompson was one of my favorite hitters from this event, taking up the box with his athletic, 6-foot-3, 185 pound frame. He is able to control his weight from a wide, grounded stance with a short hand path that is geared toward backspinning the baseball. He showed developing gap-to-gap power, with his best ball leaving at 90 mph, a number that should elevate as he adds strength. Thompson turned in an above average run time (7.19) and he also doubles as a projectable, strike-throwing southpaw on the bump.
