Lean, athletic frame at 6-foot, 190-pounds. Whaley is an athletic mover with a quick arm out of a high ¾ slot. His fastball sat 85-87 mph with life through the zone, playing with an average of 16.4” of induced vertical break. He spun his curveball at 73-74 mph with an average of 2339 rpm, playing with 12/6 shape at times. He also mixed in a low-80s change-up with fade and depth at times.

Body: 6-1, 175-pounds. Lanky build
Delivery: Feel delivery w/ some effort. Shows athleticism. Gets to a tall balance point w/ slight inward turn. Moves down the slope w/ intent but still maintains even shoulders and lands square. Upright finish.
Arm Action: RH. Longer arm action w/ some arm speed from an over-the-top slot.
FB: T82, 81-81 mph. Slot creates some downhill angle on the FB - down in the zone command T1941, 1818 average rpm.
CB: 70-72 mph. Slurvey w/ occasional bite T2308, 2191 average rpm.
CH: 76-77 mph. Kills spin - some sink T1215, 1111 average rpm.
