6/30/13: Gage is a legitimate two way player in the state. Rogers shows a plus tool in his arm. he can play all 9 positions on the field. At the plate it is simple approach with good bat speed and barrels a lot of balls. On the mound, Rogers was up to 91. most of the summer sat 86-88. The slider made a huge jump at the Top prospect games and was 77 consistently with plus action. 

4/5/13 Game Notes: Rogers showed that he is one of the top arms in the state. In the first he sat 87-89 out of the windup, and when he went into the stretch he was 85-87. In the second inning he was 85-87 with every fastball. His off speed wasn’t quite there yet, but he showed flashes of a good changeup with some sink that induced a couple of off balanced swings. Using mostly his fastball, he allowed just one hit and struck out three in his three innings on Tuesday. Rogers is a high follow in the 2014 class.
