Mason is a name we've followed since his underclass days and he showed off the best present offensive skillset at the event. It is a stocky strong, 6-foot, 190-pound frame and he turned in a 7.04 60 at this event, a quality trend with that tool. His batting practice was loud and was where he showed best, setting up in an athletic, relaxed stance with repeatable moves to the ball and plus bat speed for the age (78 mph avg; 80+ peak) as he delivered his on-plane barrel. He produced nine batted balls over 95 mph while peaking at 98 mph. There is present pullside strength with the strong rotational nature and he profiles as a run-producing bat at the college level. Defensively, he showed sound actions with an 84 mph arm across and should be able to stick at the hot-corner at the college level.

Mason is a stocky, 5-foot-11, 185 pounder that boasts a well-sequenced right-handed swing with some juice in the barrel. He clubbed 9 balls over 90 mph with his best being 95, flashing barrel feel with his best balls struck in the air pull-side. Defensively, he is sure handed with easy, fluid actions. It is an above average arm across, reaching 85 mph. He's made strides athletically, cutting his 60 by 0.2 since the fall (7.34).
