6/21/16: The 6 foot 1 200 pound showcased quick feet and fast hands.  Arm speed is quick with a long arm action.  Throws topped at 74mph.  Pop times ranged between 2.0-2.13.  He hits from an athletic setup with short stride and good balanced.  Bat speed is above average and compact swing.  Line drive approach and a fluid swing were shown through batting practice.

2/20/16:  6-foot-1, 200 pounder was 1.98, 2.00 and 2.01 with his pop times, 75 from the crouch.  Quick arm action, long/clean transfer on his throws.  Good feet.  At the plate hits from a balanced approach.  Toe tap, average use of the lower half.  Good hands at the plate, average bat speed.  Level path.  Ability to get to extension.  Hard contact to his pull-side.  Recorded a high exit velocity of 83. 

10/18/15: Strong , physical frame at 6-foot-1, 200 pounds.  Pop times were between 1.99-2.15 and was 76 from the crouch.  Shows a quick, clean transfer with quick, clean footwork behind the plate.  Arm action is a little long, but shows good arm strength.  Offensively, loads back and uses a short stride.  Shows good balance in his swing.  Bat speed is quick with a good approach to the ball.  Possesses gap-to-gap power.  Recorded a high exit velocity of 85 off the tee.  

Strong , physical frame at 6-foot-1, 200 pounds.  Ran a 7.28-60 and was 77 across the diamond.  Moves well around the bag with quick, fluid feet.  Sure hands, tendency to field the ball deep. Offensively, loads back and uses a short stride.  Shows good balance in his swing.  Bat speed is quick with a good approach to the ball.  Possesses gap-to-gap power.  Recorded a high exit velocity of 85 off the tee. 

6/25/15: The 6-foot-1 195 pound catcher displayed quick feet and a long arm action.  Pop times were 2.01-2.15.  Throws were 73mph from the crouch.  Received well in game.  Offensively,  JC has a balanced setup and a short stride.  Bat path was level with extension.  Produced line drives during batting practice. Recorded a high exit velocity of 85 mph. JC ran a 7.12 60 yd dash.

2/22/15: 6-foot-1, 190 pound sophomore sets up in a good stance.  Average hands.  Clean arm action, pop times were 2.03-2.16 and was 72 from the crouch.  Offensively, starts open, short stride.  Loads back.  Short, quick path to the baseball.  Level swing plane with the ability to get to extension.  Barreled up the baseball and recorded a high exit velo of 83 mph.
