Maifeld left with the best fastball produced of the day, showing well as an uncommitted senior. Standing at 6-foot-2, 195-pounds with some physical strength and room to pack on more, Maifeld sat 85-86 and touched 87 with a carry fastball working from an over-the-top slot. He mixed with an above average SL at 73-75 that he showed feel for. Filling the zone with a quality two-pitch mix, Maifeld elevates his stock with this look and is a solid option for schools still in need of depth on the mound in the 2026 class.

A strike-throwing RHP with a projectable, 6-foot-2, 190 pound frame, Maifeld pitched with a low ease of operation at 80-82 mph, carrying the fastball (19" of IVB on avg.) & filling the zone with strikes. His delivery worked up-tempo and he showed fast arm speed, an indicator that his fastball velocity will louden with maturity. He showed a starters' mix with feel for a tightly-spun (2400 on avg) slider and faded change (20" of HZB on avg.), both working in the mid-70s.

Delivery: Moderate temnpo with a high leg kick and tall balance point. Shoulders work slightly uphill down the slope. Long stride down the mound with tendency to land open.
Arm Action: RH. Quick arm swing from an over the top slot.
FB: T78, 77-78 mph. Straight FB with ride. T1975, 1847 average rpm.
CB: 62-63 mph. Profiles as a Sweeper. T2074, 2007 average rpm.

Hit: RHH. Tall and narrow setup with hands high in stance. Minimal load with a short, quick hover stride. hands work back very quickly in time with stride. Upper half stays compact throughout swing. Handsy swing, even bat path. Pullside approach.
Power: 84 max exit velocity, averaged 81.0 mph. 295' max distance.
Arm: RH. INF-78 mph. Quick, loose arm action from an over the top slot.
