5-foot-11, 185-pound left-handed hitter with a physical build and present strength. Dinnsen owns an on-plane lefty stroke that has a chance to be very offensive, showing rhythm and intent in the box. He posted a 90 mph max exit velocity with an impressive 82.1 mph average and 335’ max distance, flashing real power potential. Defensively, his 83 mph arm strength plays with carry across the diamond and profiles well at third base moving forward. A strong 2027 with a potent offensive ceiling.

Delivery: Up-tempo delivery with a high, compact leg lift and comfortable balance point. Stride achieves decent distance down the slope. Shoulders work even down the mound with some separation. Lots of back hip rotation. Tendency to land slightly closed.

Hit: LHH. Blanced setup. Big leg kick with weight keeping coiled into drive hip. Hands work back slightly in time with load as upper body stays compact. High-intent swing with athleticism. Bat speed with lots of power coming from the lower half. Looks to lift the ball.
Power: 88 max exit velocity, averaged 76.9 mph. 326' max distance.
Arm: RH. INF-76 mph. Short arm action from a 3/4 to a sub 3/4 slot.
Defense: Swift mover up the middle with sure hands.
ATH: 7.49 runner in the 60.

I really liked Dinnsen at the All-State, specifically what he showed in the left-handed batter's box. The swing is mechanically sound, using a slow-controlled gather into the back leg before turning a tight barrel that works behind the baseball. Dinnsen has present gap power in his strong, 5-foot-10, 175 pound frame and should mature into significantly more. Dinnsen's swing reminds me of Collin Osenbaugh, a current Louisville recruit, and the body types are similiar, as well. Dinnsen will likely transition to 3B/2B in the long-run, but I like the way he moves in the box and he holds upside as a run-producing left-handed hitter.

Hit: (LHH) Capable. Starts in a wide stance with an active load, then uses a toe tap stride. Good extension on his finish, uphill swing. 

Defense:  (IF) Aggressive footwork, natural exchange. Solid. 

Arm: 64 mph infield velocity. Short arm action, high ¾ slot. 

Speed: 8.44 (60-yard).

Pitching: Capable. Feel delivery, some effort. Over-the-top arm angle, moderate arm action. Consistent balance point, in line shoulders, a clean finish.

FB: T72 68-71 mph. (Max spin 1620;  Avg 1499). Feel accuracy. 

CB: 59-60 mph. Feel command, 11/5 shape. (Max spin 1752; Avg 1587).
