Filled up strike zone with multiple pitches. Breaking ball was 67-68 with 10/4 shape. Change-up sat 68-70 with fade. Good deception in delivery.
2/21/15: 6-foot-2, 180 pound MIF possesses an athletic frame. Showcased average hands with fluid feet up the middle. Clean exchange and plays through the ball with some athleticism. Long arm action at 83 mph with some carry and accuracy. Ran a 7.44-60. At the plate hits from a slight crouch setup, loads back. Long stride with average use of his lower half. Good balance throughout. Aggressive hitter with a quick bat. Long path to the ball, shows some power potential. Recorded a high exit velo of 86 mph.
PITCHING-6-foot-2, 180 pound right-hander pitches out of the stretch. High ¾ slot with a long arm action. Smooth rhythm, level shoulders, good line to the plate. 81-83 fastball with run and thrown for a strike. 10/4 breaking ball sat 63-65, spinner pitch. Tendency to slow his arm down when throwing the changeup and drops his arm slot down. Change sat 70-71.
