2/16/2019: Jonathan Sabotnik, OF/RHP, Crown Point HS, 2020, 6 foot 2, 175 pounds, proved to have a good combination of bat speed and arm speed while having an exit velo of 90 mph and an outfield velocity of 93 mph. Hits from the left side and uses a controlled leg lift to load and is well connected with his lower half throughout his swing. Has good outfield footwork and a very fast arm from the outfield out of a long action and good slot. On the mound works from a high ¾ slot and long arm action. His fastball was straight and sat 80-84 mph. CB was short and tight with 11/5 action and sat 72-75, and CH had good sink at 72-73. Jonathon still has plenty of room to fill out and has a high ceiling.

10.14.17: 60 Time: 7.65, Position Velocity: OF-84, Exit Velocity: 88. 6-foot-1, 170 pound sophomore outfielder showed arm strength and plus bat speed from the left side with long projectable frame. Loose, athletic swing, works tall and slightly open setup with good rhythm and fluid load to swing. Creates good barrel tilt with hands prior to swing, lands athletic and balanced after stride. Average lower half with plus bat speed, line drive with lift, head and shoulders topple through contact and extension. More strength in lower half, potential power swing. Athletic defender in the outfield, good range and instincts. Long, loose high arm action, average arm strength and carry. Footwork was flat and heavy, more foot speed to be developed.
