Kooper Schmitt is a 2027 RHP/1B with a stocky, strong 6-foot, 205-pound frame and an efficient, balanced delivery. He attacks the zone with a short, compact arm action, running his fastball up to 85 mph (84–85) with late cut and spin up to 2181 rpm. He mixes in a tight 71–72 mph slider with feel (T2361 rpm), while the changeup (78–80 mph) is still developing. He also flashed a cutter at the same velo band as his fastball. At the plate, the right-handed hitter shows a short stride and repeatable load with strength through contact. His 84 mph max exit velocity doesn't fully represent the power in the bat, which shows up more consistently than the metrics suggest. Also showed an 80 mph arm across the infield. Schmitt profiles as a durable two-way option with strike-throwing traits on the bump.
