Delivery: Stretch-only delivery. Lifts to a tall balance point, drop-and-drive mover. Shoulders work slightly uphill as he works down the slope, lands w/ open front toe. Finishes w/ dynamic balance.
Arm Action: RH. Long, full arm swing, releases from a 3/4 slot
FB: T86, 84-85 mph. Shows feel, fastball has arm-side life T1937, 1855 average rpm.
SL: 73-74 mph. Sweeping action T1777, 1772 average rpm.
SPLT: 75-77 mph.

There is significant upside in ‘25 RHP Matt Poyer (Hamilton Southeastern HS). The 6-foot-5, 230 pound right-hander creates deception in the delivery with levers flying all over the place & a low ¾ arm slot that creates a tough look for hitters. The projectable arm sat in the low-80s (T 85 mph) on his fastball and paired it with a 69-71 mph slider and sinking, mid-70s splitter. I would not be surprised to see Poyer make a velocity jump after this offseason.

Body: 6-5, 220-pounds. Long, projectable build
Delivery: Simple, stretch only delivery. Get to a taller balance point and moves down the slope with control. Lower half rotates down allowing arm to follow & whip. Recoil finish.
Arm Action: RH. Loose, whippy arm for a 3/4 slot
FB: T83, 80-83 mph. Plenty of ASR on the FB - avg command T1898, 1740 average rpm.
SL: 69-70 mph. Sweeping action T1827, 1784 average rpm.
