This was McCormick�s second PBR event of the year. The 6-foot-2 inch righty showed a more refined breaking ball at the Muncie event than he did from his previous outing. He was coming off an injury causing his velocity to be down a bit. At his previous PBR event in Westfield a month prior, he was 83-87 mph. McCormick possesses tons of arm strength, and shows a lot of upside. He is a definite follow this upcoming spring. McCormick showed a quick arm with a deceptively explosive fastball. We recently saw McCormick at 83-87 mph with his fastball. Although he is somewhat raw on the mound, McCormick is definitely a prospect to follow in the coming months.
