3/26/18 Spring Scout Blog: Young athletic RHP with a strong build frame sat 85-86 T88 through 4 innings of his outing before pitching in the 83-85 in the last part of his outing. Pitches from 3/4 arm slot, has slow tempo/clean delivery with quick arm and works downhill well. Fastball had life and lived in the bottom half of the zone to both sides of the plate. Relied on change up as out pitch early in outing before mixing in breaking ball later in outing. Change up was 74-76 with good fading action away from lefties and in on rightys. Change up showed above average potential for age with same arm speed as fastball. Breaking ball was 68-69, showed 11/5 shape and showed good late bite. Few times he got around the baseball and created a sweeping breaking ball that missed away in the zone. Interesting young 2020 arm to follow.

2/24/18:  6-foot, 185 pound pitcher has a quick arm with some looseness in the backside.  Level shoulders, stays in line.  Gets into a 3/4 slot, finishes athletically.  Fastball sat 83-85 with some late run.  Breaking ball has 11/5 shape with gradual break.  Change-up has fade to the arm side.  He has a level bat path with good balance in the batters box.  Short stride, hands load back.  Average bat speed.  High exit velocity of 84.  Defensively, hands are average with flat footwork.  Accurate throws topped 84 across.
