Starts load with movement in hands; brings hands level and back to generate power; uses leg kick for power. Shows quick hands; has an inside-out swing at times; consistently hit balls solidly and stayed inside of balls all over the field; 87 mph exit velocity.

2/16/2019: Payton Tamm, SS/C, Westfield HS, 2020, 5 foot 11, 180 pounds, ran a 7.2 and had an exit velo of 83 mph. Uses a controlled leg lift to load and gets to a good launch position. Barrels balls consistently and gets on a good gap power plane. At SS, Payton showed good hands, a long arm action with average release to throw 83 mph across the diamond.

2/24/18: 5-foot-11, 160 pound infielder features a hanging leg kick and smooth hand load. Above average bat speed, slightly uphill path with extension. Produced some hard contact to pull side. High exit velocity of 78. Defensively, he has a short arm swing into high 3/4 slot. Quick, fluid footwork. Above average arm strength. Pop times ranged between 2.03-2.11.
