RHP Tanner Reinartz (Rochester) was an uncommitted winner that took a step up at the All-State. Looking the part of a next-level arm with some athleticism in his 6-foot-3, 205 pound frame - Reinartz showed a longer, full arm swing that produced a fastball up to 89 mph (86-88). His slider is a future out-pitch, spinning it firm at 77-80 with sweeper properties (-13" horizontal, -1" vertical). The velocity tick is encouraging and, with more in there, and his ability to spin the slider should garner interest from recruiters at the next level. A high school shortstop, there is body control within the operation and more athleticism than appears.

Delivery: Simple delivery tht build up tempo throughout. High leg kick with a slight inward turn. Efficient mover down the slope. Inline shoulders, lands square, athletic finish.
Arm Action: RH. Long, loose arm action fromma H 3/4 slot.
FB: T86, 84-85 mph. Straight FB w/ feel for the zone. T2377, 2296 average rpm.
CB: 77-78 mph. Short, tight. T2618, 2553 average rpm.
SL: 75-78 mph. Some sweeping action. T2718, 2696 average rpm.
CH: 80-81 mph. Slight sinking action. T1603, 1530 average rpm.

Defense: Fluid footwork, tends to field the ball deep at times. Soft hands with a clean exchange. Solid actions overall.

Hit: (RHH) Confident. Started in a strong stance with a smooth controlled load, then used a toe tap stride. Present bat speed. Good extension on his back foot finish, loose level swing. Gap to gap approach.

Power: 92.9 mph exit velocity, average 86.5 mph. 73.5 mph bat speed average. 21.2 mph hand speed average.

Defense: (IF) Soft hands, fluid footwork, clean exchange. Solid.

Arm: 79 mph infield velocity. Loose arm action, high ¾ slot.

Speed: 7.78 (60-yard).
