2/23/13: 6-foot-1, 197 pound junior runs a 6.97 60.  Possesses an athletic frame with wide shoulders. Behind the plate is 1.95-2.06 with his pop times and displays some arm strength.  At the plate hits from a crouch with quick bat speed and projectable power.  Good balance throughout his swing and uses his lower half well.

10/21/12: Zimske is an athletic catcher at 6-foot-1, 190 pounds.  He’s consistently 2.0-2.1 with his pop times, but has popped a 1.95 at a previous PBR showcase.  Zimske possesses good arm strength; 74 mph behind the plate and 83 from the outfield.  At the plate he displays a smooth load with a short stride.  He has good balance throughout his swing and shows good bat speed.  Zimske gets to extension well, and hits the ball hard producing line drives.   The junior catcher has good speed running a 7.2 sixty.

6/5/12: Zimske is a 6-foot-1, 190 pound solid catcher in the 2014 class.  He showcased the best pop time at the event at 1.95.  He was a consistent 1.95-2.1 with his pop time. Zimske has good arm strength for a catcher at 78 mph. At the plate he shows projectable pop with good bat speed and gets to extension well.  He shows good speed for a catcher, running a 7.2 sixty.
