A strong, 6-foot-1, 200 pound lefty that spins it well. Higher effort operation with a shorter, quick arm swing. Fastball sat 84-86 mph with arm-side life. Best pitch is a sharp 76-77 slider with 14” of sweep. Also features a cutter at 79-80 that pairs well with the slider. Showed more feel in this ‘pen than in the winter. Good uncommitted follow on both sides; showed off barrel strength from the left-side with intriguing impact ability there - good for exits that peaked at a rounded 98 mph

Strong, 6-foot-0, 205-pound southpaw who showed off velo jumps at this event. Shorter, quick arm stroke as the front-side clears. 2S/SL tunnel was his best mix; showed 5 grips. 2S worked at 84-86 with heavy arm-side life while the SL played at 74-76 with 2300+ spin. Cut a change at 79-80 mph; also showed a CT at 79-80. Overall, some things to like with the overall arm strength coming from the left-side, but his bullpen at this event lacked feel. Good follow in the class.

Sam Marquell is a 2027 LHP/OF with a strong 6-foot, 195-pound frame and two-way appeal, though the upside on the mound stands out most. A tight, deliberate mover, Marquell shows a quality three-pitch mix from the left side. His fastball works 79–82 mph (T83) with up to 2180 rpm, complemented by a sharp 70–72 mph curveball and a 69–74 mph slider that gives him multiple breaking shapes. The arm action is clean and efficient, and his build suggests more in the tank. From the outfield, he topped 82 mph with athleticism showing in a 7.46 60-yard dash. At the plate, the left-handed hitter has a strong base and posted an 89 mph max exit velocity with a 320’ peak distance.
