2017 Spring Scout Blog:  The 6'1", Evansville commit competed well on the mound sitting 83-85 mph with the fastball. The junior righthander finished the game throwing seven innings, giving up 2 runs on 4 hits and striking out 6. Broad shoulder righty works from straight over the top arm action, fastball straight with good downward action towards bottom of strike zone early. Front side pulls early towards first base with arm release high up over the top, exposing long time for hitters to see. Not overpowering stuff, but pitched down in zone and mixed 12/6 breaking ball well. Curveball was 74 mph, good downward tumble that lived down in the zone for swing and misses. Changeup had good arm speed with straight downward fade at 72mph. Struggled one inning with off speed command that cost him. Attacks with the fastball and threw it well down and up in the zone to get a lot of flyballs early. Competed well with command for seven strong innings.

7/27/16: The 6 foot 1 190 pound shortstop showcased good actions up the middle.  Hands are soft with a clean exchange.  Throws were accurate with above average arm strength.  While hitting from the left side, he presents pull side power with fluid actions.  Bat path is level with extension.  From the right side, rhythm was more choppy.  Still has good bat speed and produced line drives.  On the mound, Fastball has good command and sat 79-81.  Breaking ball has 12/6 shape with downer action.  Drew swing and misses with the curveball.  Arm action is loose with good rhythm.  
9/20/15: 6-foot-1, 180 pound right-hander throws from an over-the-top slot with arm speed.  Has some effort in the delivery.  Good direction to the plate.  Fastball was 76-79 and kept down in the zone.  Breaking ball shows a 12/6 shape at 64-67.  Changeup was thrown with near fastball arm speed showing late depth.
