Norman is a 6-foot-1 160-pound right-handed pitcher in Kansas' 2020 class. On the mound, Norman has a lean and wirey frame, long limbs with loose arm action working from a high three-quarter release. His delivery is mostly smooth with a high leg lift, max effort, sinks into back side, leverages front side, accelerates down the mound with a quick arm. Fastball sits consistently 79-81 mph with arm side run and occasional sink, curveball is thrown aggressively between 66-69 mph, changeup shows some swing and miss potential, 73-76 mph, quality fading action, fastball arm speed.

8/8/17 - Norman is a lean and projectable 6-foot-1 160-pound right-handed hitting outfielder and right-handed pitcher in Kansas’ 2020 class.  He ran a 7.33 60 and a 4.68 home to first.  He has an 83 mph exit velocity. At the plate, athletic stance, smooth load into back side, minimal hand movement, quick bat speed, feel for the barrel, gap to gap line drives. In the outfield, 77 mph positional velocity, over the top release, long arm circle, fluid footwork, clean exchange, momentum after the catch. On the mound, Norman threw a high number of strikes with three pitches, long and lean body, accelerates tempo down the mound, long arm circle, lean and projectable, throws slightly across body, fastball at 65-68 mph, breaking ball has 11-to-5 shape, did produce swing and miss, sharp at times, change up at 60-61 mph, near fastball arm speed, some with late sink.
