Positional Profile: RHP/1B

Body: 6-foot-7, 210-pound very large and mature frame with room to add more bulk and size.

Hit: RHH.  At the plate shows a slightly crouched stance with neutral setup with the feet and stride.  Hands are set at mid-height with a slightly-barred position right before launch.  Quick hands through the zone with a slightly uphill path which lended to more balls in the air.  Long levered swing and he uses it well to his advantage with some future power potential.  Large frame but does a good job of maintaining control of the body throughout the swing.

Power: 83 mph exit velocity from the tee.

Arm: RH.  INF-68 mph.  High ¾ arm slot with whippy arm action across the body.

Defense: At first base showed active feet and displayed good range to the back hand side.  Likes to field the ball closer to the body and glove action is developing.  Large target and moves well for his size.

Run: 4.65 runner from home to first.

Delivery: Steps in front of body with lead foot to create a closed off angle with the shoulders and interesting angles to the plate.  Feet work quick but maintains good balance and control of the body.   Gets to a good balance point and hand break position is consistent.  Glove side gets high and works well down the mound with good direction and tilt towards the plate.

Arm Action: RH.  High ¾ arm slot with a long/smooth release.

FB: 81-85 mph, slight arm side run and some sinking action.

SL: 69-71 mph, backing up action with developing spin.

CH: 69-72 mph, flat depth with arm side fade.
