Open stance, controlled pre swing rhythm, in line stride, aggressive swing speed, strong lower half, power to pull gap, does not get cheated. On the infield, 80 mph positional velocity, loose over the top release, momentum to throw after the catch, quick to the ball, clean transfer from glove to hand. On the mound, Quinn Purdy has a controlled leg lift, accelerates down the mound, in line direction, loose over the top arm action, throws with regular effort, fastball at 77-78 mph, two-seam running action, breaking ball has 10-to-4 slider-type action, 68-71 mph, some with sharp action, change up at 72-73 mph, sinking action.
